What We Believe
Our beliefs undergird and fuel our passion, purpose, and practice as Waiehu Community Church.
Our Confessional Statement is largely based on Southern Seminary’s Abstract of Principles and the 1689 London Baptist Confession.
Ultimately, we believe the Bible to be the inspired, inerrant, authoritative and sufficient word of God. We believe the gospel of Jesus to be the Bible’s central truth, which informs and transforms our lives.
The gospel is the good news that God sent Jesus to live the perfect life we could never live, die the death we deserved, and raise on the third day so that all who repent and believe might be reconciled to God now and for all eternity.
